Men’s Crew set to Compete at 32nd Annual Murphy Cup Regatta

Camden, N.J. - Temple men's crew will race 4 boats Saturday, March 29th, in the 2014 Murphy Cup Regatta which will be held on the Cooper River in Camden, NJ.
Racing is set to begin at 9:00 AM and continue all day with the last race expected to launch at 3:52 PM. The Owls will hit the water at 9:42AM with the first heat of the men's varsity 4+.
The 32nd annual Murphy Cup is the largest to date, featuring 31 clubs with over 1,100 individual participants. Head coach Dr. Gavin R. White and assistant coach Brian Perkins are members of the regatta committee, among several other Temple University administrators.
"There are some very good schools coming out for this early race," said Perkins,"so it will be a good way to begin measuring our speed against the field."
