UPDATE: Softball's Wednesday Games with Drexel Washed Out, Thursday Game Against Monmouth Also Canceled

AMBLER, Pa. - For the second day in a row, the Temple softball team has had a home doubleheader canceled. The Owls were scheduled to host Drexel for a pair of games on Wednesday, April 30, at the Temple Softball Stadium, but the steady downpour of rain has forced the cancelation of those games. The Cherry & White were also slated to welcome Monmouth for a single game on Thursday, May 1, but that game has been canceled as well.

TU will close out the regular-season with four games against visiting American Athletic Conference rival USF on Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4. The two teams will square off with a doubleheader beginning at noon on Saturday, before finishing the weekend with a pair of games at 12 p.m. on Sunday. Saturday is Senior Day, and six Temple seniors will be honored at the games.

Temple is 15-25 overall and has played just three games at home this season. The Cherry & White have now had 14 home contests wiped out due to weather.
