Post-game Interview
AMBLER, Pa. – Temple women's soccer faced Lafayette on Thursday evening in its only scrimmage of the 2014 preseason. Kelly Farrell scored the only goal of the game in the second half for the Owls. Paige Rachel unfortunately was hurt in the scrimmage, and her status is unknown at this time. Rachel is a returning starter and team captain and lead the Owls to an American Athletic Conference victory last season over Houston with a goal and assist.
The Owls' season begins in eight days at Binghamton on August 22nd at 7:00 pm. Coach Seamus O'Connor and captain Erin Lafferty spoke afterwards on how the Owls performed today and what needs to be done as the season begins soon.
