PHILADELPHIA – The Owls return to action tonight on the road as they open up conference play. Temple will take on University of Cincinnati for a 7:00 p.m. game at Gettler Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. Temple will close out the weekend when it travels down to East Carolina University. This will be the program's first ever matchup against the Pirates. The game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start at Johnson Soccer Stadium in Greenville, North Carolina.

Temple now sits at 7-2 after a tough weekend. The Owls are optimistic and look to bounce back after a 3-2 overtime heartbreaker to city rival La Salle Sunday afternoon. "Sometimes it just doesn't go your way," said head coach Seamus O'Connor. "This was the best team we played so far. It was a tremendous effort by our team and I am so heartbroken for them. I felt we outplayed them; again we were just unlucky at times. I am so happy how we bounced back from Friday's loss at Delaware. We just need to work a little on the execution and I feel our team will be ready for conference play."
