Men's Tennis Concludes Play at Penn Invitational Against St. Joe's

PHILADELPHIA - The Owls faced off against Saint Joseph's on the last day of the Penn Invitational Sunday morning. Temple was victorious in three of the four doubles matches played and three of eight in singles.

In doubles action, Nicolas Paulus and Hicham Belkssir won their match by a score of 6-3. Both Maros Januvka and Vineet Naran and Filip Stipcic and Santiago Canete came out on top in their matches by a score of 6-4. Ondre Cargill and Hernan Vasconez dropped their doubles match 6-2.

Vasconez (6-3, 6-4), Januvka (7-5, 6-0), and Stephen Ong (6-1, 6-3) were the victors in singles for the Owls.

Temple will compete next at the Lehigh Invitational Oct. 4-5 in Bethlehem, Pa.
