Grattan Earns American Honor Roll Selection

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Temple junior Caroline Grattan has earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the period ending October 25.
Grattan provided an offensive spark for the Owls, recording 4.14 kills per set and hitting .375 from in a 1-1 week. The Pittsburgh, Pa. native played the final three sets in Temple's narrow loss to Houston, nearly helping the Owls complete the come-back. She notched seven kills and hit .455 to carry Temple down the stretch. On Sunday, she earned her first start of the season and made it count, recording a season-high 22 kills, while hitting .356. For the week, Grattan finished with 29 kills, eight digs and a pair of aces.
Temple hits the road for back-to-back weekends, first traveling to Cincinnati and Memphis. The Owls will play Cincinnati on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and then take on Memphis on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
