Men's Tennis Continues Play at the ITA Regional Championships

BLACKSBURG, Va. - Temple's men tennis resumed play at the ITA Regional Championship for day two on Saturday afternoon.
In the second round of singles within the winners bracket, Temple men's tennis split its two matches. Artem Kapshuk bested Zach Lieb from Penn State 6-2 and 6-2. Unfortunately, Uladzimir Dorash was defeated by George Cartlidge from Virginia Tech 6-2, 3-6, and 7-5.
Within the consolation bracket, Steven Hollander was defeated by Alex Hahn of Richmond 2-6, 6-4, and 1-0 (6). Filip Stipcic fell to Villanova's Stefan Suarez, 6-4 and 6-4. However, Eric Biscoveanu bested Michael Ruamthong from William & Mary 6-2 and 6-1.
In the doubles bracket, Uladzimir Dorash and Filip Stipcic fell to the Hokie duo of Corbett and Ribeiro, 8-3.
The Owls will resume play at the ITA Regional Championship tomorrow.
