Artem Kapshuk Advances to the Round of 16 in Final Day of ITA Regional Competition

BLACKSBURG, Va.- Temple men's tennis continued to play at the ITA Regional Championships with Artem Kapshuk representing in the singles.
In the round of 32, Kapshuk was able to get the victory over Vitor Lima from VCU 4-6, 7-5, and 7-6(1).
In his round of 16 match, he was defeated by Michael Weindl of ODU 6-2, 4-6, and 6-4.
Kapshuk's performance into the round of 16 marked the end of the Owls' fall season. Temple men's tennis will resume play January 15th at Norfolk State to open up their spring season.
