Coundourides Nabs Second-Straight American Weekly Honor Roll Spot

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple volleyball's Kyra Coundourides was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the period ending October 30. This is the second-straight weekly nod for the junior setter.
Coundourides led Temple's offense in a 2-0 week, as the Owls dispatched conference foes, UConn and Memphis. The junior racked up 98 assists between two matches, averaging 12.25 assists per set. Coundourides opened the week with 39 assists, seven digs, three kills, and two aces in a sweep over UConn, and closed out the week with a career-high 59 assists, as Temple topped Memphis. For the week, she also averaged 1.75 digs per set, while adding two blocks.
Winners of four-straight, Temple is 16-6 overall with a 9-3 mark in American Athletic Conference play.
