PHILADELPHIA – Following its best performance of the season Saturday, Temple women's gymnastics is set for a short road trip to Rutgers University for a quad meet on Feb. 20. The Scarlet Knights will host Temple along with Ursinus and Penn for a sold-out 6:00 p.m. match-up.

In the conference, Odom ranks second among all-around gymnasts and second on floor with an average of 9.721.

Ursinus has met with Temple twice so far in 2016 with the Owls topping the Bears in both matches. Entering this weekend's competition, the Bears will have had an off week and will return to the floor after posting a season-high 187.7 at the Ken Anderson Memorial Invitational. Monique Brooks posted the highest score of the day for the Bears with a 9.725 on floor.
ECAC rival Penn last matched up with the Owls at the Lindsey Ferris Invitational in January. Currently, the Quakers hold a season high of 191.775, set last weekend at Towson. Kyra Levi leads the conference on floor with an average score of 9.725 and the team boasts having at least one gymnast in the conference's top five on every event.
Saturday's meet will be the first meeting in 2016 between Temple and Rutgers. The two teams last met in 2014 when the Scarlet Knights hosted Penn State and Ursinus along with the Owls. Temple placed third in the meet with Rutgers taking second. Currently, Rutgers ranks 10th in the Big 10 Conference with a season average of 193.513.
