PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Temple women's basketball player Erica Covile was named both the American Athletic Conference and Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week for the period ending February 7.

Covile led the Owls to a 2-0 week, including a win over #19/17 USF. The senior clinched Temple's come-from-behind victory over No. 19/17 USF, 68-66, with a put-back layup in the final second of the contest. Covile finished the game with 15 points, 10 rebounds and two steals, as Temple moved ahead of the Bulls for second place in the conference standings. Earlier in the week, Covile notched another double-double with a 13-point, 10-rebound effort in a win over SMU.

Temple seeks its fifth-straight win on Tuesday, heading to Cincinnati for a 7:00 p.m. clash.
