Fitzgerald Again on American Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple senior Feyonda Fitzgerald earned her fourth weekly conference honor of the season on Monday, being named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll.Â
Fitzgerald led the Owls to a 73-67 overtime victory on the road at Memphis on Sunday night. The guard tallied her second-straight double-double with 19 points and 10 assists, and was two boards away from a triple-double, hauling in eight rebounds. Fitzgerald shot 50% from the field (6-12) and had nearly half of her points (9 of 19) come in the fourth quarter and overtime period.Â
Temple is back in action on Wednesday, playing at Kennesaw State at 2:00 p.m.
