Men's Soccer Looks for Third-Straight Win at Home on Tuesday

PHILADELPHIA - On Tuesday Oct. 3, Temple men's soccer will host Drexel at 7 p.m. Coming off two-straight wins over Memphis and Penn State, the Owls (4-5-1, 1-1), hope to continue its streak against the Dragons (2-5-1).

Scouting the Owls
> Freshman Alan Soto Camacho was Temple's leading goal scorer against Memphis. Soto Camacho tallied two goals for the Owls, reaching his third of the season and snapping the tied score at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex.
> Thibault Candia, named to last week's American and Philadelphia Soccer Six Weekly Honor Rolls, scored his first two career goals against Duquesne on Sept. 19. The sophomore led Temple to a 4-1 win, its second victory of the season.
> Temple's 12 goals in 2017 are spread among redshirt senior Mark Grasela, senior Joonas Jokinen, sophomores Candia, Lukas Fernandes, and Zach Brown, and freshman Soto Camacho.

Scouting the Dragons
> Drexel closed out 2016 with a record of 1-14-2 and returns 20 student-athletes this fall. 
> In Philly Soccer City Six standings, the Dragons are 1-0.
> The Dragon's leading scorer is Sebastian Cabral who has started three out of four games played and tallied three goals in 2017.
> Goalkeeper Jacob Jordan has logged 52 saves for Drexel so far this season. 

Of Note
> Both the Owls and the Dragons are coming off 2-1 overtime conference wins on Sept. 30.

The Series
> Temple leads the overall series 27-16-4. In 2016, the match-up ended in a 3-2 (OT) loss at Drexel.
