Men's Crew Competes at the Head of the Schuylkill

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple men's crew team competed in a pair of events at the 2017 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta. The highlight of the day for the Owls was a fourth place finish by the freshman eight.
VARSITY FOUR
> The Owls had a pair of entries in the 36 boat field.
> The "A" crew finished in 16th place in a time of 15:33.860.
> Temple's "B" boat took 19th, clocking in at 16:01.147.
FRESHMAN EIGHT
> Racing against 25 other crews, the Owls top boat finished just out of the medals.
> The "A" boat clocked in at 14:21.156, just off the pace of La Salle.
> Temple's "B' boat took 13th in a time of 15:54.881.
UP NEXT
> The Owls will send crews to Sunday's Princeton Chase Regatta.
