Volleyball's Rapacz Named UA/OwlSports Athlete of the Month

PHILADELPHIA -- Senior Izzy Rapacz from the Temple volleyball team was named the Under Amour/OwlSports.com Athlete of the Month for October. The right side hitter averaged a double-double in nine Temple matches during the month.

HIGHLIGHTS
> Rapacz led the Owls to an 8-1 record in the month of October.
> She tallied double-digit kill totals in all nine matches during the month.
> Rapacz averaged 16.0 kills and 10.1 digs per match, hitting season highs of 25 kills and 17 digs.
> She finished the month with six double-doubles, while hitting .312 in nine matches.
> Rapacz was named the American Offensive Player of the Week on October 16, and was named to the Weekly Honor Roll two other times.

TEMPLE VOLLEYBALL
> The Owls are 14-8 overall with a10-4 mark in conference play.
> The team has a pair of road matches this week.
> Temple plays Thursday at SMU and Saturday at Tulsa.
