Todd Completes Rookie Season with 9.8 Bar Performance at NCAA Regionals

MORGANTOWN, W.V. – In her very first NCAA Regionals appearance, Daisy Todd closed out her successful season with a 9.8 on bars. Overall, the score ranked tied for 24th among a pool of 42 bar competitors.
Todd's score of 9.8 stands as the freshman's seventh score of 9.8 or above this season, tying the all-time record for career bar 9.8+ scores. Her debut season officially came to a close with today's performance and saw personal bests of 9.85 on vault, 9.825 five times on bars, 9.775 on beam and floor, and 39.025 in the all-around.
The 2017 season for Temple women's gymnastics could be marked as the most successful in program history. With the top 10 all-time team scores belonging to the 2017 squad, head coach Umme Salim-Beasley now looks to 2018 where she will add six new gymnasts to her squad in hopes of continuing the success from this season.
