Volleyball Adds Naomi Janetzke to Signing Class

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple volleyball has announced the addition of Naomi Janetzke to the 2019 season's signing class. Janetzke signed her national letter of intent on Monday.

We're very excited to be able to work with her because of her physicality, athleticism and overall skill level. > A 6-2 outside hitter from Ansbach, Germany, Janetzke, will graduate from Gymnasium Seligenthal Landshut in the spring.
> She has extensive national team experience, competing with the German national team at the 2017 World U19 Championships in Argentina, as well as the 2017 European Championships in the Netherlands.
> Janetzke also helped the German national team to qualify for the 2018 European Championships.
> She finished third in the German national tournament with her youth team and was named the MVP of the Bavarian Championships under 18 tournament.
> Janetzke competed at the European Youth Olympic Festival in 2017, helping her team to a sixth place finish.
> She currently plays for Rote Raben Vilsbiburg in the German second league, helping the team to a third place finish in their most recent season.
