The Senior Day celebration, honoring lone senior Safa Ibrahim, will begin at 8:45 a.m., with the rounds of fencing to follow from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Owls (24-9) will fence in the first five of six total rounds, with just a short break for lunch from 12-12:30 p.m.

Senior Day
> Safa Ibrahim is both the overall team captain and the epee squad leader this season.Â
> She is a decorated fencer over her Temple career, and earned All-America honorable mention honors in 2017 when she made her third straight appearance at the NCAA Championships.Â
> Safa has recorded numerous impressive finishes throughout her career, including taking the epee title at the Penn State Garret Open as a sophomore.Â
>Â Perhaps her most outstanding accomplishment is likely one she's not even aware of - setting Temple's all-time program record for career wins. Safa is 217-96 all-time, already having garnered three more wins than the previous record-holder, foil's Debbie Currie ('98). She has smashed the previous epee wins record of 193 set by Julia Korony ('02).Â
>Â This season, Safa has a record of 40-23 which includes a 16-4 mark over two days at the Northwestern Duals in early February.Â
> In each year of her career, Safa, a sociology major, has been named to Temple's Athletic Director's Honor Roll for having a GPA of 3.0 or above.
Scouting Temple

> Temple's wins leader so far this season is sophomore Kennedy Lovelace (foil) with a record of 51-20. Freshman Eva Hinds (sabre) is close behind at 48-16, while sophomore Malia Hee (sabre) is 47-19.
