Women's Gymnastics Competes at Air Force

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – The Temple gymnastics team tallied a 193.375 in tri-meet action at Air Force on Saturday night. The Owls finished third overall, behind UNH's 195.225 and Air Force's 194.425.
MEET HIGHLIGHTS
> Three out of four Temple events finished with 48.00 or higher, including a meet-high 48.7 on bars.
> Senior Sahara Gipson grabbed a victory on vault, as her 9.8 tied UNH's Lauren Diggan for first place.
> Tori Edwards finished with the meet's best all-around score, as the freshman recorded a 38.275.
BEAM
> Temple opened the meet on beam, tallying three scores over 9.7 to combine for a 47.950.
> Freshman Delaney Garin had the high score of the day for the Owls with a 9.775.
> Junior Breahna Wiczkowski scored a 9.775 while sophomore Kerra Masella finished with a 9.7.
FLOOR
> The Owls had a fantastic floor rotation, recording a 48.6, led by a season-best 9.8 from junior India Anderson.
> Freshman Jordyn Oster scored a 9.750 with a hit routine, while Edwards and senior Sahara Gibson each scored 9.7.
> Freshman Madison Rennix rounded out the counting floor scores with a 9.650.
VAULT
> As a team, the Owls finished with a 48.125 on vault.
> Gipson's 9.8 tied for meet high honors to pace the rotation.
> Edwards scored a 9.750 with a great landing, while sophomore Jaylene Everett stuck hers for a 9.7.
BARS
> Temple closed out the meet with their best event of the night, finishing with a 48.7.
> All of the Owls' counting scores were 9.650 or above, led by a season-high 9.8 from sophomore Daisy Todd.
> Edwards, sophomore Yasmin Eubanks, and senior Kerry Arone all finished with scores of 9.750.
> Wiczkowski completed a solid bars rotation for the Owls with a 9.650.
