> Temple's sabre squad was the strongest overall, with sophomore Kerry Plunkett behind Hee in fourth place, junior Blessing Olaode in fifth and freshman Eva Hinds placing 13th.
> Freshman Kari Weiner was a finalist in her first year in foil, taking sixth, while sophomore Kennedy Lovelace was also a finalist in 12th.

> The NCAA selections will be announced March 13, with the women's portion of the championship meet set for March 22-23 at Penn State.
Quotable
> "This was a strong, high-pressure competition, and the girls fenced hard and fought for every touch today. We're pleased to have so many make the finals. All 12 of our fencers advanced at least to the quarterfinals, which was great to see. It was a really good showing for us, particularly for Malia, Kerry, Blessing and Kari. Now we have to wait and see who will advance to the NCAA Championships." - Temple head coach Dr. Nikki Franke
