PHILADELPHIA - The seventh-ranked Temple fencing team will be well-represented at this weekend's NCAA Mid-Atlantic South Regional, with the maximum 12 fencers competing for the Owls. All 16 team members met the NCAA criteria and were eligible for the meet, but only 12 per team are permitted to compete.

Representing the epee squad will be senior Safa Ibrahim, juniors Fiona Fong and Ally Micek, and sophomore Camille Simmons.

The foil squad will be represented by junior Auset Muhammad, sophomore Kennedy Lovelace and freshmen Megan Ross and Kari Weiner.

For the sabre squad, junior Blessing Olaode will compete along with sophomores Malia Hee and Kerry Plunkett and freshman Eva Hinds.

The NCAA Mid-Atlantic/South Regional is being hosted by Lafayette College in Easton, Pa.

The Owls are coming off their 22nd straight NIWFA title this past weekend, where they earned five All-NIWFA honors. Temple completed its dual meet season with a record of 26-12, and earned a win vs. #3 Penn State at its final meet on Feb. 24.

Check back to OwlSports.com later in the week for a full preview of the regional meet.
