Men's Crew Races Marist and Holy Cross

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple won all three races they entered in a match-up against Marist and Holy Cross on Sunday. The Owls earned three wins with a second place finish in racing at Princeton.
VARSITY EIGHT
> The Owls grabbed a three second win in the varsity eight race.
> Temple's time of 6:05.2 topped Marist (6:08.4) and Holy Cross (6:11.0).
SECOND VARSITY EIGHT
> It was a five second margin of victory for the 2V in the three-boat field.
> Temple clocked in at 6:29.7, ahead of Holy Cross (6:34.4) and Marist (6:46.0).
THIRD VARSITY EIGHT/FRESHMAN EIGHT
> The Owls went 1-2 in the final race of the day, as the freshman eight won, while the third varsity boat got second.
> Temple's frosh recorded a 6:48.7, while the third varsity finished in 6:55.0.
> Both teams outpaced Marist in 7:13.1.
UP NEXT
> The heavyweights will race Lehigh this weekend on the Schuylkill, while the lightweights will race Georgetown in D.C. the same day.
