Golf Heads to Princeton Invitational a Day Early

PRINCETON, N.J. – Temple Golf will take part in the 12-team Princeton Invitational this weekend. The tournament, which is being held at the 6,415-yard, par-71 Springdale Golf Club, has adjusted its schedule due to weather concerns. There will be one round Friday commencing at 12:30 pm with a single round Saturday. Tee times for Saturday have yet to be determined.
Keys to the Tournament
> Junior Trey Wren leads the Owls with a 75.0 stroke average.
> Redshirt junior John Barone (75.8) is the only other Temple golfer to compete in every round with freshman Dawson Anders (75.7) playing in 22 of the team's 23 rounds.
> Junior Gary McCabe, who was the Owls' top golfer last week at Cornell, carries a 75.4 average over 11 rounds while senior Mark Farley will be playing for the first time this spring. He carded a 71 to place third overall at the City 6 Championship in his only action in the fall.
