Golf in 7th Place Following Day One of Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – Junior Gary McCabe carded an even-par 71 to lead Temple Golf to seventh place after the first round of the 12-team Princeton Invitational Friday. The Owls are 10 strokes behind co-leaders, Cornell and Penn at the tournament which is being held at the 6,415-yard, par-71 Springdale Golf Club.
Keys to the Tournament
> McCabe, who led the Owls last week at the Cornell Spring Invitational, had four birdies on the day to finish tie for 12th overall.
> Senior Mark Farley, redshirt junior John Barone and junior Trey Wren all shot a three-over 74 to tie for 34th among the 69-man field.
> Cornell's Mike Graboyes leads the field with a five-under 66.
