Gymnastics Vault Specialists Compete at NCAA Regionals for the First Time Since 2005

University Park, Pa. – After another record-breaking season, Temple gymnastics closed out 2018 with NCAA Regionals appearances from senior Sahara Gipson and sophomore Jaylene Everett. For the first time since 2005, vault specialists represented the Owls in the event on Saturday at Penn State.
Gipson
> Gipson closed out her collegiate career with a 9.625 vault score at her first-ever NCAA Regional meet.
Everett
> In her first NCAA Regional appearance, Everett posted a 9.525 vault score.

> The 2018 season was another groundbreaking one for Temple gymnastics.
> With the 2018 team holding the top two all-time team scores in program history. Head coach Umme Salim-Beasley now looks to 2019 where she will add four new gymnasts to her squad in hopes of building off the success of this season.
