Men's Cross Country Earns No. 7 Spot in Regional Polls

PHILADELPHIA -- The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association released their 2018 preseason polls featuring the Temple Men's Cross Country team at a program-high No. 7 spot in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
The Owls' preseason ranking matches their seventh place finish in the 2017 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional meet. This was the highest Temple has ever finished at the Regional level, finishing four runners in the top 50 out of 180 participants. Last year, the Owls entered the 2017 season ranked 15th in the Mid-Atlantic.
The men's cross country squad opens their 2018 season this Friday, August 31st as they host the Temple Invitational at the Belmont Plateau.Â
