Heirakuji Named to American Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple volleyball player Mia Heirakuji picked up the Owls' first American Athletic Conference weekly nod this season, as the libero earned a spot on the honor roll for her play last week.
DIGGING DEEP
> Heirakuji's defense sparked Temple to a 2-1 record at its own Cherry & White Challenge, including a 2-0 day two with wins over UNH and Princeton.
> The senior racked up 62 total digs, averaging 5.64 a set, in three matches.
> Heirakuji's weekend included setting a career high with 32 digs in a four-set win over Princeton, a 2017 NCAA Tournament team.
