Women's Basketball Unveils Full 2018-19 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA -- The 2018-19 Temple women's basketball schedule is set. The Owls and the American Athletic Conference released full league schedule today with Temple's 29-game slate featuring 10 nationally televised match-ups.Â
Seven of Temple's games will appear on ESPN entities, with one game on CBS Sports Network, and two on the American Digital Network. Non-conference match-ups may be added to the national broadcast schedule at a later date.Â
The Owls begin conference play at home with USF (Jan. 5) on CBSSN. Temple then plays Tulane at home (Jan. 8) before playing at Houston (Jan. 12) and at Cincinnati (Jan. 16). Temple returns home for a match-up with national-power UConn (Jan. 20) and a conference clash against ECU (Jan. 26).Â
Temple closes January with a road game at Tulsa (Jan. 29) and opens February at Wichita State (Feb. 2.)
February home games include Houston (Feb. 5), Cincinnati (Feb. 17), and Tulsa (Feb. 27). The Owls play on the road in February at UConn (Feb. 9), SMU (Feb. 20) and UCF (Feb. 23). The Owls have two regular season games in March -- Wichita State (March 2) at home and Memphis (March 4) on the road.Â
The 2019 American Athletic Conference Championship will be held at March 8-11 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn..
