Women's Basketball Hosts #2 UConn on Saturday

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple women's basketball team will take on #2 UConn on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at the Liacouras Center. The game was moved from Sunday to Saturday due to the threat of bad weather in the area, and will be broadcast live on SNY/ESPN3.
WELCOME TO THE RING OF HONOR
> The Temple Basketball Ring of Honor will honor its third class of inductees at halftime with the late Mimi Carroll Kurtz (1982-86) and Claudrena Harold (1994-97) joining the elite group.
> The fourth highest scorer in Temple history at the time of her graduation, Carroll Kurtz tallied 1,290 points and averaged 11.6 points in 111 games.
> Temple's leading scorer as a senior, the Philadelphia Big 5 Hall of Famer averaged 15.2 points per game in earning All-Big 5 first team in 1985-86.
> A two-time first team All-Philadelphia Big 5 honoree, Harold was a scoring machine in the '90s.
