Women’s Soccer to Celebrate Senior Day against Delaware State Sunday

PHILADELPHIA—Temple women's soccer (4-9-4, 2-5-1 AAC) is back home on North Broad for the final time in the regular season as it hosts Delaware State at the Temple Sports Complex. The Cherry and White will be honoring it's eleven seniors as they celebrate Senior Day. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
Owl About Us
> The Cherry and White are led by head coach Seamus O'Connor, who is in his seventh season at the helm of the program.
> Temple is captained by junior Julia Dolan and seniors Morgan Basileo, Emily Keitel and Molly Tobin.
> Sophomores Hailey Gutowski and Gabriela Johnson pace the Owls' offensive attack with 10 points (4g, 2a) and nine points (3g, 3a), respectively. Junior Marissa DiGenova and senior Morgan Morocco are also formidable threats in the attacking third, as they have each dished out two assists on the season.
> Basileo has recorded 117 saves through 17 contests for the Owls. This mark is good for third in the nation and first in the American. She also leads the conference in saves per game (6.88) and is second in save percentage (0.836). The senior owns a 1.28 goals against average, has four shutouts and has tallied double-digit saves three times this season (8/22 at No. 23 Wake Forest, 9/12 at Maryland, 10/17 at No. 21 UCF).
> Basileo was named to the American Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season on Monday, Oct. 21 for her stellar play between the posts against No. 21 USF and USF.

> Temple wrapped up its Florida road trip at USF on Sunday afternoon. The Bulls came out on top against the Owls, winning the contest 2-0.
> The Owls created some great quality chances on the offensive end, but were unable to capitalize on those opportunities in the final third.
