Bolukbasi Named to American Weekly Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple volleyball sophomore Miray Bolukbasi was honored for her play last week by the American Athletic Conference. The Weekly Honor Roll nod is the first in her career.Â
Bolukbasi averaged a double-double of 21.5 kills and 11.0 digs in a 1-1 week for the Owls. On Thursday against UCF, the outside hitter kept the Owls competitive, tallying a career high 22 kills and adding seven digs, hitting .357. On Saturday in Temple's season finale, she was a huge part of the Owls' come-from-behind win, recording her first double-double of the season with 21 kills and a career high 15 digs, adding a career-best four blocks. For the weekend, she averaged 5.38 kills and 2.75 digs per set.Â
