Monica Servidio Named ECAC Gymnast of the Week

PHILADELPHIA—Gymnastics' Monica Servidio has earned ECAC Gymnast of the Week honors for her standout performance in last weekend's tri-meet against Pitt and UNC.

Servidio was impressive in Temple's tri-meet victory over Pitt and UNC, winning her second all-around title of the season and posting or tying her career-best on vault, bars and beam. The sophomore scored a 39.025 in all-around, with a 9.775 on vault, 9.75 on bars, 9.9 on beam and 9.6 on floor. Servidio's performances on bars and beam tied her for second place in each event.

Next up, Temple will compete at ECAC foe Penn in a quad meet that also features Bridgeport and West Virginia. Competition is set to begin at 1 p.m.
