Donabedian Named 2025 EAGL Specialist of the Year

PHILADELPHIA – 5th year graduate student Brooke Donabedian was named the 2025 EAGL Specialist of the Year. The Maple Valley, Washington native competed on the balance beam and the floor throughout the season, taking part in every meet this season on both events. Donabedian makes Temple Gymnastics history as she is the first Owl to win this award.
 
Donabedian shined on the beam this season, finishing the regular season with Second Team All-EAGL. Her NQS on beam this season is 9.810 which ranks ninth in the conference. Donabedian posted a season-high 9.925 on beam on February 8th while taking on Penn and Fisk. This was the highest score of the season on beam for the Owls and tied a career-high on beam for the 5th year.
 
Competing on floor, Donabedian posted strong and consistent scores all season long. Her season-high game at the Rutgers Quad Meet on March 7th as she posted a 9.925. This score contributed to the 49.200 overall floor score the Owls had, which was a season high. She ranks seventh overall in conference on floor with a 9.845 NQS.
