Women’s Gymnastics Announces 2026 Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's gymnastics head coach Hilary Steele announced Tuesday afternoon the 2026 schedule for the Owls. The slate begins in January of 2026 and spans until the end of March. Temple will compete in 13 total meets, five at home in McGonigle Hall and eight on the road.
The Owls will kick things off on Sunday, Jan. 4 at 2:00 pm when the team travels to Piscataway, N.J. to take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. SUNY Brockport will also be a member of this meet. The following week Temple will head south to Gainsville, Fla. to take part in a meet hosted by the Florida Gators. The meet on Friday, Jan. 9 at 6:45 pm will also feature the North Carolina Tar Heels and the West Virginia Mountaineers. The first home meet of the season will be on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 5:00 pm. The Owls will welcome in the Sharks of LIU on Alumni Night. Six days later on Friday, Jan. 23 the Cherry & White will remain home for Military Appreciation Night. The meet will begin at 6:00 pm and will feature George Washington, Penn, and Texas Women's. To close out the month of January Temple will go back to the SEC, this time to Athens, Ga. The Georgia Bulldogs will play host to Temple, Fisk, and Southern Connecticut on Friday, Jan. 30 at 7:00 pm.
Temple will start February on the road against the New Hampshire Wildcats. The EAGL conference meet will be on Sunday, Feb. 8 at 2:00 pm. The Owls will come back to the City of Brotherly Love the following week for Senior Night. Temple will welcome in William & Mary, Brown, and Yale on Friday, Feb. 13 at 6:00 pm. One week later Eastern Michigan will travel to Philadelphia to face Temple on Friday, Feb. 20 at 6:00 pm. The Owls will remain in Pennsylvania to close out February but will be on the other side of the state in Pittsburgh. Pitt will host Temple and Towson in the City of Bridges on Friday, Feb. 27 at 7:00 pm.
The month of March will begin in Philadelphia on Thursday, March 5 for Temple's Cause Meet. Maryland, Towson, and Penn will come to McGonigle Hall for a 5:00 pm start time. Just two days later, the Owls will hit the road to travel to Maryland. The Terps will play host to Temple, Ball State, and Cornell on Saturday, March 7 at 6:00 pm. The final regular season meet of the season will be in our Nation's capital, Washington, D.C. George Washington will play host to Temple and Towson on Sunday, March 15 at 1:00 pm. The 2026 EAGL Championships will be on Saturday, March 21 at 5:00 pm. LIU will be the host site for this year's championships.
NCAA Regionals will be from April 2 to April 5 and nationals will be a few weeks later from April 19 to April 20.
