PHILADELPHIA—Temple women's tennis (9-4, 0-1 AAC) took on Philly rival Penn Saturday afternoon at the Hecht Tennis Center. The Owls fell to the Quakers, 7-0.

Notes
> Temple's doubles team of Ruoyu Chen and Chunan Xiang notched a victory at first doubles, but Penn came out on top in the No. 2 and No. 3 spots to win the point. Chen and Xiang improved to 7-4 as a duo.
> Penn swept the singles matches, but the contests were closer than the final score suggests. Four of the six matches were pushed to three sets.
