Men’s Tennis Tops Wagner, 6-1

PHILADELPHIA— Temple men's tennis (7-6, 1-1 AAC) downed Wagner on Friday morning, defeating the Seahawks, 6-1, at the Legacy Tennis Center.
Match Notes
> Temple earned its second victory in as many days with a dominant showing against Wagner. The squad won the doubles point with wins from Alberto Caceres Casas and Mark Wallner in the No. 1 spot and Francisco Bohorquez and Juan Araoz in the No. 3 spot.
> In singles, the Owls were victorious in five of the six contests. Wallner and Araoz downed their opponents at third and fourth singles to put the team up 3-0.
> Temple clinched the match with a win from Eric Biscoveanu in the No. 5 spot. Bohorquez added to the lead, coming out on top at sixth singles.
> Wagner took second singles, but the Owls wrapped up their strong team performance with a win in the No. 1 spot. Casas rallied from being down a set to take the decision in the three-set contest.
