PHILADELPHIA — The Temple women's basketball team was honored with a pair of American Athletic Conference regular season awards on Friday, as sophomore Mia Davis and graduate Alliya Butts were both named to the All-Conference team.

She's racked up 12 double-doubles this season, and has hit the 20+ mark 13 times in 28 games. This season, Davis also set a career high with 33 points in a win over Houston, tying her career-best with 17 boards in that same game.
Butts, a guard from Edgewater Park, N.J., was named to the All-Conference second team, making her the only four-time All-Conference selection in Temple women's basketball program history. Butts is second on the Owls and fifth in the conference in scoring, averaging 15.3 points per game. She leads Temple with 4.8 assists and 2.1 steals per contest, ranking in the top three in the American in both categories. She's tallied six games with 20 or more points this season, including a career-best 34 points in a win at Tulsa. Butts also dished a career-best 10 assists this season, while recording 16 games with five or more helpers.
