Women’s Soccer Travels to Maryland Thursday

PHILADELPHIA—Temple women's soccer (1-3-1, 0-0 AAC) will travel down to College Park, Md. on Thursday, Sept. 12 to take on Big 10 foe Maryland. The contest between the Owls and the Terrapins will kick off at 7 p.m.

> The Cherry and White are led by head coach Seamus O'Connor, who is in his seventh season at the helm of the program.

> Last time out, Temple dropped a 3-0 decision to the Villanova Wildcats (3-2-1, 0-0 Big East) on Sunday. A strong second half fueled by three goals led the Wildcats' victory. The Owls held the Wildcats scoreless for the entirety of the first half, battling for possession to deny them any chances on net. It was a chippy match between the local Philly rivals that saw 24 fouls and four yellow cards. Basileo came up huge for the Owls in net, posting seven saves and thwarting numerous dangerous opportunities from the starting whistle.
