Golf Finishes 11th at River Run Collegiate

DAVIDSON, N.C. – It was a rough final round for the Temple Golf team Tuesday as the Owls fell three spots to finish 11th of the 15 teams at the River Run Collegiate. Temple shot a 305 for its final round on the par 72, 7317-yard River Run Country Club.
Recapping the Day
> Liam McGrath had the best round for the Cherry and White. The senior had a team-best three birdies on the day and his two-over 74 led the Owls. He finished tied for 55th with a 230.
> Liam's brother Conor led Temple overall, shooting a four-over 76 Tuesday to finish tied for 25th with a three-round total of 223.
> Freshman Graham Chase was the next best finisher for Temple, tying for 39th overall with a 227.
> Junior Dawson Anders, who was two-under on his first round, stumbled with a 10-over 82 to finish tied for 50th at 229.
> Freshman Danny Nguyen fired his third straight round of 79, placing 74th with a 237 while Anthony Barr, who was competing as an individual, finished 81st at 242.

> James Madison won the tournament by 22 strokes over Charlotte with the Dukes' Walker Cress earning medalist honors with a nine-under 207.
