Men’s Tennis Seeks Third-Straight Win at George Washington

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's tennis team will travel to the nation's capital on Sunday, Feb. 9, to face George Washington University at 1 p.m. 

The Match
> The match will take place at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, VA.
> This will be the first time Temple has faced George Washington since February of 2018, where the Owls defeated the Colonials 5-2.
> Both squads are looking to extend their winning streak to three after sweeping their last two matches.

The Owls
> Temple is coming off back-to-back home victories, sweeping St. Francis Brooklyn and UConn on Jan. 30 and 31, respectively.
> The Owls have seen strong doubles play, while Marin Delmas and Eric Biscoveanu have led the way with a pair of 6-1 victories.
> Temple has the opportunity to seal their first road win for the spring season. 

Scouting the Colonials
> The Colonials are also coming off two consecutive wins against Howard and Duquesne. 
> Ben Barnett has led the way in singles play for the Colonials with a 2-1 start. Barnett posted the best singles record in the fall after going 9-4. 
> George Washington hasn't had a three-match win streak since February 2017. Temple was one of the teams they defeated during that win streak.
