Gymnastics Home Meets Will Air on ESPN+

PHILADELPHIA -- The Temple gymnastics team will have all four home meets of the 2021 season broadcast by ESPN+. The Owls' will join the platform based on Temple's primary affiliation, the American Athletic Conference, and a 12-year media rights extension with ESPN.

"The 2021 season is already shaping up to be a transformative season for the Temple gymnastics program with the transition to the EAGL, and we are excited to broaden the program's national exposure through our partnership with ESPN," said Kevin Copp, Associate Athletics Director/Video Production. "ESPN is the standard bearer of NCAA Gymnastics television coverage, and I hope Temple fans and viewers across the country will appreciate the enhancements to our broadcast coverage this year."

Copp will be on all four broadcasts, with commentary from Associate Director of Development Casey Addis, a former NCAA gymnast at SUNY Brockport.

Temple's 2021 schedule kicks off with a home meet on Saturday, January 16 with a tri-meet featuring the Owls, Eastern Michigan, and Towson, beginning at 7:00 p.m. After competing on the road, the Owls return to McGonigle and ESPN+ with dual meets against UNC (Feb. 21), George Washington (March 5), and Long Island University (March 7).
