Field Hockey Looks to Bounce Back in League Play

PHILADELPHIA - After dropping its first conference game of the season in a tough 1-0 loss at Georgetown last weekend, the Temple field hockey team will look to bounce back with a pair of road games. The Owls will continue BIG EAST play at Providence Friday afternoon before getting a quick non-conference tuneup at Lehigh on Sunday.
Scouting Temple
> The team dropped its first conference win of the season last week at Georgetown, falling 1-0 after the Hoyas scored an early second-half goal.
> Temple is tied for second in the league standings, with Liberty being the only team undefeated in BIG EST play.
> The Cherry and White has lost only once on the road, posting two shutouts and allowing just five goals.
> The Temple offense has spread the love , with seven Owls scoring so far this season. Julianne Kopec leads the team with five while Kerrie Lorenz and Tess Muller round out
the multiple goal scorers with two.
