STORRS, Conn. - The Temple field hockey team's season came to an end in Storrs, Conn. as the team fell 4-2 to No. 8 Liberty, the eventual tournament champion, in the BIG EAST Tournament semifinals. Sydney Beck and Nienke Oerlemans were named to the All-Tournament Team following the championship match.

Recapping the Game
> Liberty went up quickly, scoring on a penalty corner attempt less than a minute in the first quarter.
> The Owls found the equalizer in the second frame, with Beck scoring her first of the season on a pass from Annie Judge.
> The Flames broke the tie after converting another penalty corner, going up 2-1 at the 26-minute mark.
> Liberty found a pair of goals midway through the third quarter to go up 4-1 with 24 minutes left in the game.
> Temple found a spark late in the final quarter thanks to Devin Kinzel's third of the season, but couldn't overcome the deficit.

> The Cherry and White was outshot 14-5 and outcornered 9-2.
> The Owl defense successfully defended six penalty corner attempts.
> Grace Angelella and Beck led the team with a pair of shots each, while Kinzel fired Temple's other shot.
