Campbell Named to TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week

PHILADELPHIA- After earning a huge season-opening victory over USF on Saturday night, junior forward Jalen Campbell was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com men's Team of the Week for his performance against the Bulls. His recognition follows him being named as American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Campbell had arguably the best performance of his career during the Owls' first game of the 2020-21 season. The Canadian national paced Temple from the start with the first shot of the match only 39 seconds after kickoff. Campbell would go on to shoot the ball two more times during the game, scoring both times. The junior adds two goals to his career total, already tying his single season high from 2019.

The Owls will return to the pitch on Saturday, Feb. 13 against UCF at the Temple Sports Complex. The conference match-up is set for 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
