Danielson Earns First Career AAC Honor Roll Nod

PHILADELPHIA -- Freshman volleyball player Falanika Danielson was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll on Monday for her outstanding play last week.
Danielson continued to shine for the Owls defensively, leading both teams in digs for the fifth and sixth-straight matches. She averaged 7.17 digs per set in a pair matches against league-leading UCF. On Thursday, the libero amassed 27 digs, besting the next closest player on both teams by 14. Danielson also had an ace and five assists. On Friday, she picked up a match-high 16 digs while adding three aces.Â
Temple volleyball is 5-3 on the season and the Owls return to action this weekend with matches at home on Friday and Saturday.
