HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - Temple Golf shot its best round of the tournament on the final day Tuesday, but it was not enough to move the Owls out of 16th place at the Pinnacle Bank Intercollegiate. Temple's final round of 304 was 12th among the 16 team field at the tourney held at the Palmetto Hall Golf & Country Club's 6,918-yard, par-72 Arthur Hills Course.

Recapping the Day
> Senior transfer Peter Bradbeer led the Owls with his best round of the tournament, a one-over 73. The Bryn Mawr, Pa. native made three birdies over a four-hole stretch to put him at one under after 10 holes, but consecutive bogeys spoiled his below-par effort.
> Junior Conor McGrath matched Bradbeer with three birdies and was one of three Owls to shoot a five-over 77 on the day. He was joined by Dawson Anders and Graham Chase, who both carded 77s, to close out the Temple scorers.
> Sophomore Andrew Curran rounded out the Temple lineup with an 80.
> Overall, McGrath, who had 10 birdies over the 54 holes, led Temple and tied for 42nd with a 10-over 226. Bradbeer was just two strokes behind and tied for 48th with a 228.

The Field
> Charleston Southern (871) defeated Augustana (873) by two strokes to win the team title. Furman (875) was four shots off the lead in third place followed closely by High Point (878). Host Francis Marion (881) was 10 strokes back in fifth place.
> Furman's Kelly Harper and High Point's Brandon Einstein tied for first with four-under 74s and shared medalist honors.
