3.1.21 | Men's Soccer

IRVING, Texas - After Saturday night's 2-1 loss to the USF Bulls, sophomore Amir Cohen has been named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the week ending February 28th. This is the first time Cohen has been honored by the AAC.

The Israel native has been a force for the Owls since week one, where he scored his second career goal in the season opening match at USF. In Saturday's loss, the midfielder scored the lone Temple goal of the game against the Bulls, finishing off a brilliant cross from forward Mike Eijgendaal with an acrobatic kick. Cohen is tied for fourth in the AAC for shots, tied for third in points, and is also tied for third in goals

The Owls will cap off a four-game homestand with a visit from No.8 SMU on Saturday, Mar. 6. The conference battle is set for 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
