Men’s Soccer Set to Host Highest Ranked Opponent in AAC History, #2 SMU

PHILADELPHIA-- The Temple men's soccer team will play host to the No. 2 ranked SMU Mustangs. After ascending to the second spot in the NSCAA/United Soccer Coaches poll this week, they are the highest-ranked team in American Athletic Conference history. The 7 p.m. match will be broadcast live on ESPN+ from the Temple Sports Complex.
THE OWL POST
> After claiming victory week one, the Owls have lost three straight by one goal each. They are currently tied for 5th in the AAC alongside UCF.
> Sophomore's Mike Eijgendaal and Amir Cohen have emerged as legitimate offensive weapons. Cohen notched his second goal of the season last week off an assist from Eijgendaal, who scored his first Division I goal the week prior.
> Last match saw the debut of goalkeeper Eoin Gawronski. The redshirt freshman was solid relief in the second half and made his first collegiate save.
