3.8.21 | Women's Volleyball

PHILADELPHIA -- Temple volleyball player Tyler Lindgren was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll after leading the Owls to a 1-0 record. This is her first Honor Roll selection of the season, after being named the Offensive Player of the Week in February.

Lindgren captained the Owls' offense to a 3-1 win over UConn in their only action of the week. The junior set a new career best, dishing out 57 assists, with over 45% of her sets going for kills. Lindgren shined all over the court, adding 17 digs to record her fourth double-double of the season, while adding an ace and a solo block.

For the match, she averaged out 14.25 assists per set, while the Owls hit .277.

Temple volleyball is 7-4 on the season. The Owls resume conference play this weekend at East Carolina.
