Golf Finishes Ninth at Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate

AIKEN, S.C. – Temple Golf had all five golfers shoot in the 70s in the final round of the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate Tuesday to place ninth overall in the 15-team field. Sophomore Graham Chase recorded the best round of the day for the Owls, a two-over 72, while junior Conor McGrath topped Temple and tied for 24th overall with a four-over 214 for the tournament
Recapping the Day
> Chase, who tied for 43rd overall (+11, 221), had four birdies on the day, including two in his final four holes.
> McGrath was next for the Owls with a four-over 74. He had four birdies in his final 18 holes and topped Temple with 11 for the tournament.
> Junior Buddy Hansen (+18, 68th) had the most consistent day for Temple, making a team-high 11 pars and one birdie for his five-over 75.
> Senior Dawson Anders (+13, t49th) had four birdies in his round, but it was offset with three double bogeys as he carded a six-over 76.
> Senior Peter Bradbeer (+14, t52nd) recorded his toughest round of the tournament, a seven-over 77,

> Defending champion and eighth-ranked Clemson (821) won the championship, besting runner-up UNC-Wilmington (828) by seven strokes.
> Clemson's Jacob Bridgeman, ranked second in the nation by Golfstat, won the individual title with an 11-under 199. He bested Furman's Keller Harper (-9) by two stokes.
